Digitization

Quadyster specializes in digitizing physical documents to create searchable PDF documents with OCR capabilities. Quadyster uses production-grade, high-speed scanners that can handle large volumes of documents. The Quadyster team is currently working on a project for the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, IL, that involves digitizing over 9 million documents.

Quadyster is experienced in all the following phases of the digitization process:

  • File Transfer: Packing the documents onsite in boxes and moving them to the Quadyster weather-controlled, secured facilities to avoid any damage to the documents.
  • Inventory: Creating an inventory of all the documents, based on key information provided by the customer team.
  • Digitization and Imaging: Scanning the documents using high-speed production scanners and creating high-quality, searchable PDF documents. The Quadyster team stores these files on a secured network drive and delivers them to the customer as per customer instructions.
  • Retain (return)/Destroy: Based on the customer's needs, boxes needing to be retained are returned to the customer, and boxes that need to be destroyed are securely destroyed at Quadyster facilities.
